Abstract C.I.M. is spoken word artist, hip-hop lyricist, and Atlanta native, Sassett West. Her piece, "You Don't Want That Smoke" is inspired by the harmful effects tobacco has had on her friends, loved ones, and people around the world.
West is moved by our campaign, which sheds light on an important fact: tobacco products are disproportionately targeted towards black communities, thus leading to the faster decline of our health.
I felt the motivation and responsibility to alert my people, share that it's worth letting go, and it's never too late.
