Piere Ingram is a spoken word artist born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. His first exposure to poetry was through Dr. Suess books when he was young, and soon reading and writing poetry became a way for him to escape from his problems and release his emotions. Piere uses the his experience with substance abuse to fuel his passion for poetry, sharing his story through poems to inspire others in recovery.

Piere's main inspiration for his rendition of "You Don't Want That Smoke" comes from his mother who passed away in 2019 from drinking and smoking. Now 4 years clean, Piere is dedicated to spreading awareness and support AATCLC's mission to save black lives.
