The Case Against Menthol

On April 29 2022, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced that it will begin the rule-making process to take mentholated cigarettes and little cigars off the U.S. market. This engaging ancillary event will provide the background and updates on the historic mentholated tobacco lawsuit brought against the FDA in 2020. The key plaintiffs (AATCLC, ASH, AMA, and NMA) and players will provide an overview and update on the current status of the lawsuit and next steps.
