Nsele M. Nsuangani, MPH, CHES is a Health Educator and Project Director for the Tobacco Education Program Environmental Health Division in the Kern County Public Health Services Department. He joined the Kern County Tobacco Education Program in 2004. He has worked toward the adoption of a tobacco retailer’s permit policies to curtail illegal sales of tobacco products to minors in Kern County and the cities of McFarland, Wasco, California City, and Tehachapi. He is currently working on local policies to make outdoor public places smoke-free. He is fluent in French. He is a graduate of California State University of Fresno with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Science and a Master Degree in Public Health with an emphasis in Health Administration.
