COVID-19 Safety Protocols

1. A negative COVID-19 PCR or Antigen test

Please take a COVID-19 test before you leave for the conference.

  • Antigen tests, including self-administered home "rapid" tests, must be taken 24 hours or less prior to your arrival on-site.

  • PCR tests must be taken 72 hours or less prior to your arrival on-site

2. Up-to-date vaccination with all doses in the primary series and all recommended boosters

3. No COVID-19-related symptoms and exposure

It is encouraged that conference attendees monitor any COVID-19-related symptoms prior, during, and after the conference. Symptoms may include but are not limited to the following: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and diarrhea. Conference attendees experiencing any of these symptoms should take a COVID-19 test to determine the next steps of action. It is the attendees’ responsibility to bring or obtain a self-testing kit for COVID-19 when needed, as none will be able for purchase on-site at the conference.

4. A commitment to wearing a mask at the conference at all times

The conference will also require a commitment by its attendees to wear a mask in all indoor meeting spaces, including hallways and the registration area, at all times, with the exception of times while eating or drinking. This requirement will be enforced and any attendee unwilling to adhere to the mask requirement will forfeit their meeting credentials and be asked to leave the conference. Attendees are strongly encouraged to wear more effective masks (e.g., N95s, KN95s, KF94s) for the duration of the conference.

Note: Conference presenters will be permitted to remove their masks while presenting to ensure that all attendees are able to hear presentations clearly.

5. Notifications about positive COVID-19 test results

Given COVID-19 metrics nationwide, and despite stringent safety precautions, it is very possible that conference attendees may test positive while at the conference or shortly after departure. All attendees are asked to immediately report a positive test result by emailing Josh Brown (josh@brownstrategy.com).

If a positive test result is reported, conference organizers will communicate this quickly and clearly with all attendees to ensure transparency and to allow attendees to be as informed as possible about their potential exposure. The identity of any individuals that test positive for COVID-19 will not be disclosed to attendees and personal information will remain confidential at all times.
